Floor plans, rooms, screens, power, rigging and access in one place, gathered with the venue and kept accurate. The example uses a fictional venue.
Every production starts with the same questions. Where are the rigging points, and what are their loads? What power is available, where, and on which phases? Which screens are installed, at what resolution, and how are they fed and controlled? Are there branding screens in the foyer, and who runs them? What are the load-in route, dock access, lift dimensions and curfew?
Sometimes there's a tech pack, and sometimes it's from 2019. Often the answer comes back in pieces across three email threads and a site visit. The detail that takes the longest to find is also the easiest to lose between one event and the next.
For participating venues, we gather the production-relevant detail together with the venue team and keep it accurate:
Venues share packs through secure links created for a specific request, with an expiry date. That means the venue decides who sees what, and the link stops working when the job is done. You can open an example room page to see the format. The venue in the example is fictional.
We're onboarding founding venues now, so the number of real venues is still small. If you work regularly with a venue that isn't listed, tell them about us: founding venues get their pack free, and every pack makes your next advance easier.
Our tools directory lists software event production teams use or look for, covering show running, timing, communication, streaming and more. Each tool has a short write-up explaining what it does, so you can compare options quickly. It's free to browse with no account, and we add tools regularly.
The supplier directory groups companies by category, such as agencies and AV and production, so you can find a partner or a sub-hire faster.
We're not a replacement for a site visit on a complex build, and we don't sign off loads or replace the venue's own technical approval. A venue pack gives you accurate starting information; the venue's technical team still has the final word.
Floor plans, capacities, rigging points, screen locations with resolutions and specs, branding screens and how they're controlled, power and access, depending on what the venue has.
We gather it with the venue and keep it up to date with them. If something has changed, tell the venue or us and we'll correct it.
Venues create secure links for a specific request with an expiry date, so ask the venue for one covering your event.
We're onboarding founding venues now, so coverage is growing.
