Finding the right production partner

Planners usually need a supplier quickly and on a recommendation: someone to handle the AV for a conference, build a stage set for an awards night, or run the sound and lighting for a product launch. Search results are full of marketplaces and lead-generation sites. This directory lists the companies themselves, checked by people who work in events, with no paid ranking.

Use the category filters to narrow down to the kind of company you need, or search for a service or region. Each listing shows what the company does, where they work and, where they've told us, how long they've been trading.

Production, AV, staging and agencies

Production companies take on the whole technical side of an event: design, equipment, crew and show-calling. AV and technical suppliers provide and run sound, lighting, video, LED walls and projection, from single breakout rooms to plenary stages. Staging and set builders design and build the physical environment: stages, sets, exhibition stands and themed spaces. Agencies handle the creative and logistics and bring in specialist suppliers for you.

Many companies cover more than one of these, so read the services on each page rather than relying on the category alone.

What to ask before you book

Send the venue's technical information early, ideally a full venue pack with floor plans, rigging points, power and access, so the supplier can quote accurately. Ask for a clear quote that separates equipment, crew, transport and overtime. Check public liability insurance, risk assessments and method statements, and who will be the named contact on the day. A site visit or a call with the venue's technical team avoids most surprises.

Questions about the supplier directory

Who is listed in the supplier directory?

Production companies, AV and technical suppliers, staging and set builders, lighting and sound specialists, agencies and other companies that work on business events. Every listing is reviewed and approved before it appears.

Do suppliers pay to be listed?

No. Listings are free and the order isn't for sale. We don't take a commission on work you book through a listing.

How do I contact a supplier?

Open the supplier's page for their services, region and website, then contact them directly. Business Event Space isn't a party to your booking.

How do I add my company?

Create a free account and submit your business from the homepage, or email enquire@businesseventspace.com. We check each submission before it goes live.

Are the listings vetted?

We check that each company is real and works in events before approving it. We don't audit their work, so ask for references and insurance details as you would with any new supplier.
