Floor plans, rooms, screens, power, rigging and access in one place, gathered with the venue and kept accurate. The example uses a fictional venue.
Every event starts the same way. There's a brief, a budget, a date that never moves, and a long list of things to find out. Which venue rooms actually fit the layout you need? Where are the power points? Can the screens take your content, and who controls them? Which registration tool, which run-of-show template, which AV company?
The answers exist, but they're scattered across old email threads, PDFs that may be out of date, supplier websites and that one spreadsheet a colleague made two years ago. The work isn't hard. Finding things is what eats the time.
A growing directory of event tools. We list tools that event professionals actually search for: planning, registration, communication, show running, production and more. Each tool has a short write-up explaining what it does and where it fits in an event workflow. Browsing is free and needs no account. We add new tools regularly, so it's worth checking back.
A supplier directory. The suppliers are grouped into clear categories, so you can find the right kind of partner, whether that's an agency, AV and production, or something else, without wading through generic search results.
Venue info packs. For venues that take part, we gather the details planners keep asking for: floor plans, capacities, rigging points, screen locations with resolutions and specs, power and access. We keep that information accurate, and the venue can share it with you through a secure link, set up for a specific request with an expiry date. Venue packs are new and we're onboarding founding venues now, so coverage is still small. You can see an example venue pack to understand what one looks like.
It's built for people who organise events professionally or as a big part of their job: conferences, corporate events, launches, awards, exhibitions and internal events. If you only plan one family party a year, most of this will be more than you need.
BES is not a booking platform. We don't take bookings or payments for venues or suppliers, and we don't currently provide quotes. We help you find things and get accurate information faster.
We're adding tools all the time, prioritising the ones event professionals look for most. If there's a tool you rely on that isn't listed, suggest it using the form on our homepage, and we'll review it for the directory.
Yes. Browsing tools, suppliers and venue information on the site is free.

It's a managed set of a venue's practical details, such as floor plans, capacities, rigging, screens with specs, power and access, gathered and kept accurate by BES with the venue.
Venues can create secure links for a specific request, with an expiry date, so the right people see the details for the right length of time.
Use the submission form on our homepage, and our editorial team will review it.
Coverage is growing. If a venue you work with isn't listed, point them to our venue page; founding venues join free.
