Event tools for marketing teams

For marketing teams, an event is one channel among many, but it's often the most expensive. Business Event Space helps you find the right tools, suppliers and venue facts without becoming a full-time event planner.

01

Physical constraints

Launches and roadshows depend on screens, sightlines and access.

02

Operational gaps

Message and audience are clear; tools and suppliers less so.

Venue packs

See what a venue pack looks like

Floor plans, rooms, screens, power, rigging and access in one place, gathered with the venue and kept accurate. The example uses a fictional venue.

Events are a channel, and a demanding one

Product launches, customer roadshows, partner summits, trade show appearances and webinars all sit on the same marketing calendar as campaigns and content. The difference is that events have physical constraints. A launch needs a room with the right sightlines and screens. A roadshow needs similar venues in several cities. A field event needs registration that talks to your CRM and follow-up that happens while people still remember you.

Marketing teams are usually strong on message and audience. The gaps tend to be operational: which tool, which supplier, what the venue can actually do.

Tools for every stage of an event campaign

Our free directory lists tools event teams use for promotion, registration and ticketing, attendee communication, livestreaming and running the day itself. Each tool has a short write-up explaining what it does, so you can compare quickly and talk to your ops or IT team with a clear shortlist. No account is needed, and we add tools regularly. If one you use is missing, suggest it through the form on our homepage.

Launch and roadshow venues, without the guesswork

If your event depends on a reveal, a demo or a big-screen moment, the venue's technical detail matters as much as its location. For participating venues, BES gathers floor plans, capacities, screen locations with resolutions and specs, branding screens and how they're controlled, rigging, power and access, and keeps it accurate with the venue.

The venue can send you a secure link created for a specific request, with an expiry date. Forward it to your agency or production partner so creative is built for the real room. See the example venue pack for the format; the venue shown is fictional, and real coverage is growing as founding venues join.

Finding the right partners

The supplier directory groups agencies, production companies and specialists by category. For a launch, that's usually where an experiential or production agency comes in; for a webinar series, it may be a streaming specialist.

How marketing teams use BES

  • Shortlist registration and promotion tools before the campaign brief is signed off.
  • Check a venue's screens and branding options before committing creative.
  • Share venue facts with agencies through the venue's link.
  • Revisit the tools directory as new tools are added.

Measuring what the event did

Marketing teams are usually asked what an event achieved. Decide early what you'll measure, such as registrations, attendance, meetings booked or pipeline, and pick registration and follow-up tools that capture it. The directory's write-ups help you see which tools focus on promotion, which on the attendee experience, and which on follow-up.

When BES isn't the right fit

BES isn't a marketing automation platform or a ticketing system. We point you to the tools that do those jobs.
